Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mother perform. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. The year 1997 was the time she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. In Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk became pregnant during production of the season's third finale episode. The news was announced to the fans in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched television couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
